The 15th Annual Fired Works Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale is scheduled for April 17 - 26, 2020 in Macon's beautiful Central City Park. The 2020 show will feature Holly Polich with 60 other master potters from Georgia and the Southeast who will bring thousands of ceramic works to the show. The Fired Works Patron and Preview Party will be held Friday, April 17 with complimentary food and beverage, music, and a meet and greet with the artists. Fired Works is the largest pottery show in Georgia, and one of the largest in the Southeast. This year’s show is presented by Georgia Farm Bureau.

The mission of Fired Works is to provide a marketplace for local, state, and regional ceramic artists to show and sell their work. Fired Works also promotes the rich history of pottery in Georgia, and its connection to the Ocmulgee River Region. The oldest piece of stamped pottery found in North America was discovered at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park in Macon. The event provides exposure for contemporary ceramic artists as they continue this tradition.
